Faculty in the School of Occupational Therapy welcome applications for PhD studies focused on occupational therapy or occupational science. Interested persons should contact individual faculty at the School to identify potential supervision, co-supervision or committee membership, to identify potential funding support and write proposals, and to gain support to organize the application. Applications may be submitted either to the Faculty of Graduate Studies Interdisciplinary PhD program or the Faculty of Engineering Biomedical Engineering PhD program.
Dalhousie University is currently developing a PhD in Health Research program that will be of interest to student pursuing scholarship in occupational therapy or occupational science. Please stay tuned for details.
Prospective students may be eligible for funding through scholarship programs at NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR, or from the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation (NSHRF). Within Dalhousie funding possibilities include Killam scholarships and support through the Faculty of Health Professions.
